Recognise. Support. Empower.
Many individuals with ADHD are misunderstood, often misdiagnosed or labelled with emotional instability or personality disorders. However, ADHD is a neurological, brain-based condition, although it may give rise to complex emotional patterns.
About the Course
- Duration: 14-hour CPD-accredited online training
- Designed for: Therapists and professionals who work with clients with ADHD and want to deliver truly inclusive, effective support
- Goal: To shift practice from neurotypical assumptions to a more affirming and empowering approach tailored to ADHD needs
The course enables practitioners to recognise when their clients may be presenting with ADHD traits; allowing them to develop complimentary ways of working and provide appropriate support and understanding. This course will also enable practitioners to recognise ‘how’ and ‘when’ it may be important to consider referring clients for diagnosis and treatment.
