Information is collected from any enquiries over the phone, via the website, email, social media or directly from you face to face. We also collect personal information when you send us feedback and complete customer surveys.

Independent Therapists will comply with GDPR, our privacy policy and other policies and procedures notified to them by us from time to time.

In respect of any Customer’s personal data, including data collected whilst making notes of the Therapies and/or enquiries, Independent Therapists will:

  • use such personal data only in so far as is necessary for the purpose of carrying out Therapy;
  • comply promptly with our instructions in respect of such personal data;
  • not disclose such personal data to any third party other than on our written instructions or as required by law;
  • not allow such personal data to be transferred out of the European Economic Area;
  • promptly assist us with requests in respect of such personal data;
  • when making notes during Therapies, ensure that any such personal data included therein is accurately recorded and promptly amended if inaccurate;
  • immediately inform us of any breaches or possible breaches of data protection;
  • on request provide to us such personal data in the format reasonably specified.
  • will keep, transport and dispose of any Customer personal data securely to prevent unauthorised disclosure, access, loss, destruction or damage to such personal data.

Legitimate business interests

Our priority is to make sure we give a high quality and fulfilling service to customers and to follow up effectively on enquiries even though we accept that not all enquiries will lead to a business relationship or contract. We collect personal information to:

  • follow up on enquiries in accordance with industry guidelines and provide quotes for room hire/details of services;
  • conduct research and analyse website visitor behaviour patterns;
  • customise our website and its content to your particular preferences;
  • improve our services;
  • detect and prevent fraud;
  • prevent offensive, inappropriate or objectionable content being sent to or posted on our websites or to stop any other form of disruptive behaviour.

If for any reason you change your mind, you can email or write to us and have this person taken off your account as an alternate contact person.

If you provide us the details of a person who we can contact for a job reference, we may contact that person in connection with your application.

For security reasons we cannot disclose all measures undertaken however we are able to comment that our organisation always seeks to comply with GDPR, and we will use technical measures to safeguard your personal data.
