About Sarah:

Sarah Douglas is a late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD cis-woman and has become an autism study advisor who has contributed her lived experience to much-needed areas of research such as education, self-harm, suicidality, anxiety, intimate partner violence and sexual assault. She also works for SARSAS as a peer-support group facilitator, volunteers on their helpline and is a member of their Autism and LD Advisory Group. Sarah is also conducting her own Masters/PhD research into autistic experiences of spiritual abuse and alleviates the collective emotional load by rocking out to live music, RockFit, and loves the arts, theatre and red squirrels.
